Outcasts and Rebels

In the future, the United States divided itself into four extremist countries, including The Free States of America. Not only is the FSA fascist, with attitudes reminiscent of the 19th century, but problems that have plagued humanity for centuries still remain. Unrequited love, wild shenanigans, corrupt cops, and the occasional small town drama. Gilran, Jefferson is part of the FSA, and this slice of life dystopian revolves around Jake's thirst for justice, Maple's fear of domesticity, Sebastian's desire to belong, Axel's need to survive, Stellaluna's wish for excitement, and Luke's struggles as a single father. Although their personalities and desires differ, they all wish for one thing: Freedom. If only the majority of the country agreed with them. Unable to overthrow the government, they rebel against conformity by loving whoever they choose, at the risk of becoming outcasts.
