In Their Eyes We Were Cellurks

Cellurks are green nocturnal herbivores found in the isolated village of Unut, where life is harsh yet safe. The surrounding forest grows unnaturally fast—cut trees regrow within weeks—making travel nearly impossible. Villagers constantly thin the forest just to survive, leaving no room for farming, fishing, or roads. Why does a village exist here? Long ago, Lord Unut chose this land for unknown reasons. Since then, the village has been filled with “invitations” for exiles, the abandoned, the elderly, deserters, and soldiers’ families. Among them is a young man who does not know why he was brought here. Abandoned by his father as a child, he was raised by the village elder and grew up as a carpenter, living peacefully with his friends. After the elder’s sudden disappearance, strangers in unfamiliar clothing begin appearing in the forest. Will he let his nightmares consume him?
