Pilgrim of Sheol

For Melinoe, death is neither an ending nor a new beginning. It is an eternal prison. She awakens in Sheol with no memory of who she is, how she arrived, or even the crime that condemned her to the realm that exists just above hell. In this place, the only thing she has left is a living weapon that is eternally bound to her. Together, they must fight their way through a realm of endless war, monstrous denizens, demons, and souls twisted by countless eons of suffering. However, in Sheol, death holds no jurisdiction. Instead, those who are slain are fated to rise again. But each resurrection comes at a terrible cost. A piece of soul is consumed. To survive Sheol, she must uncover the truth of her identity before the realm strips away what remains of her soul. But in a world where no one can truly die, survival may prove far worse than death.
