Ordan hasn't been a Stalwart Companion, a sidekick, to Bluebell for very long, and he's begun to grasp how hard his job is going to be. Heroes may protect the city of Kingsmount from the never-ending parade of monsters, but he's the first line of defense between a Wizard-class Hero who is ill-equipped to interact with the world, and an unsuspecting public. Now they've been assigned to accompany Griselda Hammerheart, a Halfling woman on a Quest. She intends to lift The Curse that has plagued her race for over ten thousand years, and give her god a piece of her mind in the process. Can they negotiate with a god, set right an historic injustice, and keep Bluebell from incinerating something she shouldn't? Two out of three wouldn't be so bad.
